About Meredith

Meredith Jaeger is the USA Today bestselling author of five dual-timeline novels. She was born and raised in Berkeley, California, the daughter of a Swiss father and an American mother. She spent many summers with her extended family in Switzerland, hiking in the Alps.

After graduating with a degree in literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Meredith moved abroad to Prague to teach English as a foreign language. She worked in the field of international education before pivoting to tech. Her love of words began at an early age. She wrote and illustrated many stories as a child, including one titled “The Midnight Journey” about a missing mouse named Angelina Whiskers.

Meredith began writing seriously in 2009, taking classes at The Writing Salon in San Francisco. In 2013, while working for a San Francisco startup, she began writing her debut novel, The Dressmaker’s Dowry.

Meredith currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband , two children, and one neurotic Chihuahua mutt. You can find her at Zumba, at the beach, or holed up in a cafe working on her next novel.
